Stop Press! Extended Sunday Bandstand Music Sessions

jazz...mmm

At Eat @ we just can’t say goodbye to the summer yet, so we’ve extended our afternoon bandstand music sessions for 2 more weeks!!!
Sunday 2nd September sees the beautiful laid-back lounge jazz of the suave and charismatic Letters from New York City, a power trio of fun, cool jazz covering an array of hip music from the 30s thru to the 70s.

These guys have a super-smooth sound, especially the vibraphone featured in the band by Dirk Adams. With Robert Freedman on woody thumpy upright bass, and comedy compere vocals and cocktail kit with Brad Gross, you know you’re gonna have fun.

So if you fancy a spot of Central Park cool, meet us at the Alexandra Park Bandstand on Sunday 2nd Sept 2-4pm. Free concert, deckchairs will be out, delicious refreshments available.

And Sunday 9th September is so jam-packed it needs its own column – Bandstand Marathon Day – details to follow as soon as they’re confirmed (we love a bit of mystery almost as much as we love the summer sunshine).
