A fun-packed Bank Holiday weekend is almost upon us!

Nana Tsiboe, bringing a little bit of Ghana to Stade Saturdays this Bank Holiday weekend

The bank holiday weekend is nearly here, and even though the weather may be questionable, the quality and quantity of events is guaranteed!
Friday brings Pepe Mache’s Portable Pantomimes to the Stade Open Space at 10am 12 noon and 1pm, with a free show packed full of fun for children of all ages.
Saturday is a very musical day with Bohemia Trust’s free fundraising event in Alexandra Park, rocking up the Bandstand from 10am-5pm.
And Saturday evening is – you guessed it – Stade Saturday, with the Stade Open Space moving to African inspired beats from 7.30pm. This free concert should bring warmth to the Old Town, no matter what the weather does!
Sunday continues with a musical theme back in Alexandra Park, with the return of our old friends 1066 Pipes and Drums to the Bandstand. 2-4pm, deckchairs will be out for this lovely free event at which we will be announcing an extension to our summer bandstand programme (everybody now – ooh!)
And last but not least comes Monday’s events which take a four-legged turn as Alexandra Park plays host to the annual Bank Holiday Companion Dog Show.
