The summer is not over yet, and nor are the celebrations!
As part of a nationwide day of events to celebrate both the Paralympics and our open spaces and performance spaces, Eat @ has joined forces with Hastings Borough Council to programme a whole day of activities to showcase the uses we can put our lovely bandstand to.
The programme looks like this:
9.30-10.30 am – yoga with Romana. A beautiful way to start the day, suitable for all abilities. Pay what you can, bring your own mat and blanket
11.30-1-pm Bob Butler’s children’s party with puppet show, magic tricks and party snacks. A free event for all
2-4pm Free bandstand concert with local rock and blues legends Not Guilty. After having wowed the Beer Festival more than once and delighting audiences in venues across the town, this local band with a great following are debuting at this unique outdoor venue. Deckchairs and sunshine freely available
5-6.30pm Sparkling cream teas. Imagine this – vintage linen and crockery, a selection of organic teas, home made scones with clotted cream and preserves, classical background music, waitresses in white pinnies, and a delicious glass of creamy Prosecco. All this could be yours at the best spot in town this Sunday afternoon. Dress up posh and show off! £8 per person, tel 07763 119143 or email info@eathastings.co.uk to book your table.
8-10pm. A spectacular way to end our day – a free showing of Breakfast at Tiffanys. Sit in style on the decking of Eat @ the Park Cafe (open all day and evening for all your refreshment needs) and watch this beautiful film in equally lovely surroundings.
