Alexandra Park buzzes this Sunday (16th June)

Join in this year’s Race for Life in Alexandra Park this Sunday and show cancer who’s boss by raising money to fund groundbreaking research into new drugs and treatments. So come along and run, walk, dance and sponsor – together we will bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Starts 11am, for more info contact raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org
And to keep the spirits up even after the race is over, Eat @ the Park Cafe brings you not one, but two bandstand concerts! Featuring the bandstand debut of two extremely talented local groups, we kick off at 12 noon with the uplifting and glorious sounds of the All Aloud choir, followed hot on their heels by Loose Ends at 1pm.
To keep the party going all day long, the eat @ bar b q will be on hand, as well as our lovely cafe (minus Stacey and Katie, who will be running on the day – go ladies!). Eat @ will be sponsoring our runners so come along and cheer them (and all the others) on.
