Sea Shanty Shenanigans this Stade Saturday

Ahoy me hearties! Well, it’s probably not news to anyone that it’s Pirate Day this Sunday (22nd), but did you know that the seaside frolics actually start the day before?
Hastings’ first ever Sea Shanty Festival takes place on Saturday 21st and should certainly help to set the mood for the weekend with a daytime event in the Stade Hall and then an evening session on the Stade Open Space from 7.30pm. Eat @ the Stade will be open throughout the day and evening to provide all manner of bounty from sea and land as well as the modern-day equivalent of a barrel of rum – well, local ales and some delightful Pinot – for refreshing those dry throats.

Stade Saturday – Sea Shanty Festival, Stade Open Space 7.30pm Admission Free.
