The weather was kind enough to provide a break in the rain for us to hold our party, and the sun even came out for a while to shine down on the fantastic drumming fom Section 5, our opening speeches, great entertainment from The Lucky Ones, Bob Butler and Grass Roots.
The face painting and children’s craft activity were hugely popular, as were rides on Happy Harold the Hastings trolleybus, and can we say a huge thanks to Cath Tajima-Powell for the craft activity and Ion Castro for driving the bus. And another huge thanks to Ian Jarman of Cooden Cellars for providing us with wine tasting for the adults and his expertise on the great selection of wines he has chosen to complement the menu.
We are now looking forward to a great summer with plenty of activities and fun in the sun (yes, it will be back).
