To our local community,

Like many, we’re concerned by the refusal to extend free school meal vouchers through the Autumn half term holiday and as a part of our local community, we cannot stand by and do nothing. We’d like to show our support for Marcus Rashford’s campaign to prevent local children going hungry during the half term in this coronavirus pandemic and this is how eat@ cafes will be helping:

From Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October we will be:

Providing small packed lunches to take away. These can be collected from either of our cafes at the following pick up times. Please see below on how to order your free lunch.

Pick up times:
Park cafe 9am to 10am
Stade cafe 10am to 11am

The takeaway packed lunch will be a roll, a piece of fruit, a biscuit bar and a carton of juice.

To order a takeaway packed lunch, we ask that families message us on Facebook the day before so that we can prepare a packed lunch for their child/ children. Please only visit the cafe to collect your packed lunch if you have received a confirmation from us with further instructions. Click here to message us. Should you no have access to Facebook, please call us on 01424 447 116.

We will prepare as many takeaway packed lunches as we can. There is no embarrassment in ordering a packed lunch, they will be available with no judgement or questions. Lunches ordered will be treated with complete discretion and no other purchase from the cafe is necessary. We will do our best to respond to as many requests as possible. Packed lunches are TAKEAWAY ONLY due to us having very limited seating as part of our Covid-safe measures

These packed lunches are free and funded by our family business so please only order if you truly need help. Please continue to social distance when visiting our cafes.

We hope this helps in some way. Please help us spread the word so that the message gets out to those that need a little help this half term. We’re in this together.

❤️
